I'M VANS. I BUILD THINGS THAT RUN.
01 / About
Think it.
Shape it.
Build it.
Ship it.
I'm Vans, a self-taught software engineer from Nigeria.
I pride myself in building products for clients, from websites and apps to developer tools, to a standard I'd put my own name on, at prices that stay competitive and fair.
I started with the machines themselves: computer pc repairs, building them, setting up offices and networks. Code came next, then deployment and infrastructure, so I think across the whole system, not just one layer.
Spluur is the clearest example: a cloud platform I built from scratch and still run myself.

05 / Beyond software
I work
all the way
down.
Before software became the main thing, I was already taking computers apart, fixing them, building custom machines, installing operating systems, setting up networks, and getting people's workspaces running.
That grew into software, and then into infrastructure. I still work across the whole stack, whether it's a machine on a desk, a network in an office, or a service running on a server.
01
Hardware
PC and laptop repair, diagnostics, upgrades, custom builds and computer sales.
02
Systems
Windows, Linux and macOS: installation, configuration and setup.
03
Networks
Office networks, workspaces, cyber labs and reliable connectivity.
04
Software
Products, developer tools, infrastructure and deployment.
Custom PC builds
You bring the idea, the requirements and the budget. I source the components and build the machine around what you actually need.
06 / Notes
What
broke.
What I built, what broke, what I learned.
Three Bugs That Taught Me How My Own Platform Works
A wrong proxy setting made every visitor look like the same person. A domain verified and never routed. A migration history stopped matching the database.

The command takes a second. What it starts passes through seven systems, and almost every one of them can fail on its own.

A 26.96 MB PNG became 1.17 MB. The compression was the easy part. Making a tool that edits your code something you can trust was the hard part.
